Global Sinkhole Solutions Pegged with Wage and Hour Complaint

Global Sinkhole Solutions Inc. is on the receiving end of a lawsuit filed by a former employee who claims the company failed to pay its laborers proper wages within the last three years. According to the suit, the plaintiff worked for the Florida-based company from August 2016 through March 2018. The man claims he and similarly situated workers were not paid time-and-a-half overtime for hours put in over 40 each week.

Moreover, the plaintiff says that the defendant, from August 2017 through March 2018, required members of the proposed collective to work without a lunch break. Despite this requirement, the defendant still deducted such time from workers’ paychecks as though they had taken bona fide lunch breaks, the lawsuit claims.
