Last Updated on May 8, 2018
Cross v. Aero Components, Inc.
Filed: November 14, 2017 ◆§ 5:17-cv-01226-W
A former machinist says Aero Components threatened to fire him immediately if he again complained about supposedly unpaid overtime wages.
An individual formerly employed as a machinist and operator by Aero Components, Inc. has filed a proposed collective action that alleges the Oklahoma City company failed to pay proper overtime wages. The plaintiff claims he and similarly situated employees regularly worked upward of 40 hours per week without being paid time-and-a-half hourly wages mandatory under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Moreover, the plaintiff says the defendant informed him he would be fired immediately should he continue to complain about the company’s timekeeping and compensation practices.
