A proposed collective and class action alleges that C&I Engineering improperly paid hourly employees at their respective straight-time rates for overtime work.
A civil engineer who worked at the defendant’s Richland, Washington facility filed the suit over claims that she received her regular rate of $83 per hour for all time worked, including for overtime hours that should have been paid at a time-and-a-half rate.
Lastly, the plaintiff alleges that the engineering firm denied her paid breaks and vacation time in violation of state labor law.
