Baldelli v. The Bowls LLC
Filed: October 6, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-07675
An Americans with Disabilities Act class action alleges the website for NYC concert venue Brooklyn Bowl is not accessible to blind internet users.
The Bowls LLC, which operates the Brooklyn Bowl entertainment venue in New York City and others nationwide, is facing a proposed class action over the alleged inaccessibility of its website, BrooklynBowl.com, to blind and visually impaired internet users. Per the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims he attempted to browse BrooklynBowl.com but was unable to independently navigate the site, and, consequently, was deterred from visiting the defendant’s physical venues as a result of barriers that do not allow for the use of screen-reading software.
