The Antigo Construction class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on August 11, 2026. Eligible for the settlement are all individuals whose private information was potentially accessed in the June 2025 Antigo Construction data breach.
Court documents state that the private information of approximately 280 people was allegedly impacted by the data breach.
The court-approved Antigo Construction class action settlement website can be found at AntigoDataBreachSettlement.com.
Settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive up to $3,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses and lost time incurred due to the data breach.
This benefit covers up to five hours of lost time spent remedying issues related to the data incident, at a rate of $25 per hour. This benefit also covers unreimbursed costs incurred between June 1, 2025 and December 24, 2026 for credit reports, credit monitoring, credit freezes, card replacement fees, bank fees, postage, mileage, and more.
Class members must submit proof to receive a documented-loss payment.
Should the total value of all valid claims for documented-loss and lost-time payments exceed $200,000, payments to class members will be reduced on a pro rata (proportional) basis.
In lieu of a documented-loss and/or lost-time payment, class members can file a claim form to receive a $100 cash payment, with no proof required.
Lastly, all class members received an activation code for two years of three-bureau credit monitoring with the settlement notice and can head to this page to complete their enrollment.
To submit an Antigo Construction settlement claim form online, class members can navigate to this page and enter the notice ID found on their copy of the settlement notice and their last name. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, complete and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Antigo Construction settlement claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by December 24, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Antigo Construction class action settlement following a hearing on December 14, 2026. Settlement payouts will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Antigo Construction class action lawsuit alleged that the construction company failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures to protect current, former and prospective employees’ private information from a data breach that occurred between June 1 and June 6, 2025.
Court documents state that personal information that may have been compromised during the data incident included full names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, financial account numbers, and health insurance information.
