$800K Concord Hospital Settlement Resolves Lawsuit Over Alleged Disclosure of Patient Info

Concord Hospital has agreed to an $800,000 settlement to wrap up a class action lawsuit that alleged the healthcare provider embedded tracking pixels on its website that may have secretly transmitted visitors’ private health information to third parties without consent.

The $800,000 Concord Hospital class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on June 12, 2026. The deal covers:

• -All individuals whose telecommunications were allegedly intercepted by Google and/or Geonetric while using the Concord's web properties between May 9, 2021 and June 12, 2026; and
• -All individuals whose protected health information may have been disclosed to Google, Geonetric or other online tracking technologies while using the Concord's web properties between May 9, 2021 and June 12, 2026.

The court-approved website for the Concord Hospital class action settlement can be found at ConcordPixelSettlement.com.

Concord Hospital settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive a pro rata cash payment, with no proof required.

The final amount of each class member’s cash payout will be determined based on the total number of valid claims filed, among other factors.

To submit a Concord Hospital settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.

All Concord Hospital claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by September 11, 2026.

As part of the settlement, Concord Hospital has agreed to cease its use of third-party tracking pixels unless the hospital has obtained informed, voluntary consent from website visitors.

The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Concord Hospital settlement following a hearing on November 3, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.

The Concord Hospital class action lawsuit alleged that the Concord, New Hampshire-based medical center embedded third-party tracking technologies—including pixels from Google Analytics and Geonetric—on its website that may have transmitted private health information and communications to third parties without user consent, allegedly in violation of New Hampshire’s Wiretapping and Electronic Surveillance Act and Patient Privacy Law.
