The PRC-Saltillo class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on August 18, 2025 and covers all individuals, including minors, whose private information was impacted by the August 2024 data breach, including those who received a notice of the incident.
Per settlement documents, approximately 53,028 individuals, including minors, are covered by the class action settlement.
The court-approved website for the PRC-Saltillo data breach settlement can be found at PRCSettlement.com.
According to the website, PRC-Saltillo settlement class members have multiple options for reimbursement. Settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form on behalf of themselves and/or their minor children with documented proof of out-of-pocket losses are eligible to receive a one-time cash payment of up to $5,000. Under this reimbursement option, reimbursable expenses include costs related to fraud or identity theft, professional fees, credit repair services, credit monitoring costs, and costs related to freezing and replacing credit cards, the settlement website says.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members with a valid claim form are eligible to receive a one-time, pro-rated cash payment of the money that remains in the settlement fund after the payment of legal fees, service awards, administrative expenses, and out-of-pocket loss claims.
Class members who are minors will be automatically enrolled in eight free years of CyEx’s Minor Defense Pro service. According to the settlement website, no claim form is required to receive this benefit, and an enrollment code will be emailed to the minor’s parent/guardian.
According to the settlement agreement, class members may submit a claim form for both monetary reimbursement options, with the option to receive their payout via check or electronic payment.
As part of the class action settlement, PRC-Saltillo has also agreed to implement certain cybersecurity measures to protect the interests of class members’ data security.
To submit a PRC-Saltillo settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member ID found on their copy of the settlement notice.
Consumers who believe they may be a class member but did not receive a class action settlement notice can contact the settlement administrator to confirm their identity and receive their login ID.
Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the address listed near the bottom of the second page of the document.
PRC-Saltillo settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by December 31, 2025.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the PRC-Saltillo settlement at a hearing on January 13, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to consumers only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The PRC-Saltillo class action lawsuit alleged that an unauthorized party attacked the auditory healthcare developer’s systems in August 2024, targeting private employee and consumer information. Per the settlement website, the consumer information impacted by the data breach included, but was not limited to, names, addresses, phone numbers, dates of birth, medical information and health insurance information.
