The $300,000 Gill Corporation class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on March 16, 2026. The agreement covers all United States residents whose personal information was compromised in the data breach discovered by The Gill Corporation in June 2024, including all who received notice of the incident.
Court documents state that approximately 3,232 people were impacted by the Gill Corporation data breach.
The court-approved website for The Gill Corporation (TGC) data breach settlement can be found at TGCSettlement.com.
Gill Corporation settlement class members who file a valid, timely claim form can receive up to $5,000 for documented losses incurred between June 23, 2024 and August 22, 2025 due to the data breach. This benefit covers monetary losses related to identity theft, fraud, or similar misuse of a class member’s personal information stemming from the breach.
Class members must submit proof, such as receipts or bank statements, to receive a documented-loss payment.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members can instead file a claim form to receive a cash payment of at least $100, with no proof required. The final amount of this cash payment will depend on the total number of valid claims filed.
Finally, in addition to any monetary benefits, all class members may file a claim to receive two years of three-bureau credit monitoring and identity theft protection services.
To file a TGC claim form online, class members can head to this page and log in using the notice ID found on their copy of the settlement notice and their last name. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All TGC settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by July 20, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Gill Corporation data breach settlement following a hearing on September 3, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Gill Corporation class action lawsuit alleged the California-based aerospace, defense, and marine products manufacturer failed to implement adequate cybersecurity measures to protect the sensitive information in its care, which allegedly led to a data breach on or around June 23, 2024.
Per court documents, private information that may have been exposed in the breach included names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, W-2 forms and bank account information.
