The $2.95 million STIIIZY class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on May 28, 2026. The agreement covers all individuals whose private information was accessed, compromised or stolen in the data breach announced by STIIIZY on January 7, 2025.
Court documents state that approximately 387,555 people received notice of the breach.
The court-approved website for the STIIIZY data breach settlement can be found at STIIIZYDataBreachSettlement.com.
STIIIZY settlement class members who file a valid, timely claim form can receive up to $7,500 for documented losses stemming from the breach. This benefit covers losses arising from identity theft and fraud, related miscellaneous expenses such as postage and notary charges, and credit monitoring and mitigative costs incurred between October 10, 2024 and the date of claim submission.
Class members must submit proof, such as receipts or account statements, to receive a documented-loss payout.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, class members can file a claim form to receive a pro rata cash payment with no proof required. California residents will receive twice the share of non-California class members due to state-specific statutory requirements.
Court documents note that the final amount of each class member’s payment will depend on the number of claims filed, among other factors.
In addition to either monetary relief option, all class members can file a claim form to receive two years of three-bureau credit monitoring and identity theft insurance.
To file a STIIIZY settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and make a selection indicating whether they have a class member ID, which can be found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF of the claim form to print, fill out and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All STIIIZY settlement claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by September 10, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the STIIIZY class action settlement following a hearing on October 19, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The STIIIZY class action lawsuit alleged that the California-based cannabis retailer and streetwear chain failed to implement adequate cybersecurity protections to safeguard sensitive information it collected in the ordinary course of business, which led to a data breach in or around October 2024. Per court documents, private information potentially impacted by the breach included personally identifiable and protected health data.
