The Veradigm class action settlement received amended preliminary approval from the court on November 6, 2025 and covers approximately two million United States residents whose private information may have been compromised during the December 2024 data breach.
The court-approved website for the Veradigm class action settlement can be found at https://VeradigmDataSettlement.com/.
According to the site, Veradigm data breach settlement class members who submit a valid, timely claim form have multiple options for reimbursement. Those who submit with their claim form documented proof of out-of-pocket losses are eligible to receive a cash payment of up to $5,000, referred to as “Cash Payment A” on all court documents.
Reimbursable losses, the settlement agreement stipulates, must have been incurred as a result of the December 2024 data breach and include costs related to identity theft, fraud, and other potential misuse of personal information.
In lieu of a documented-loss payment, Veradigm class members may alternatively file a claim form to receive a pro-rated cash payment of approximately $50.
In addition to either monetary benefit, all settlement class members may also file a claim to enroll in two free years of CyEx medical data monitoring, which includes one-bureau credit monitoring, dark web scanning, security freezing assistance, and identity theft insurance, per the settlement agreement.
As part of the class action settlement, Veradigm has also agreed to implement certain business practice changes intended to enhance its security defenses and protect against any future cyberattacks.
To submit a Veradigm claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the class member ID listed on their copy of the settlement notice. Consumers who believe they may be a Veradigm settlement class member but did not receive a notice can contact the settlement administrator to confirm their identity and receive their login ID.
Alternatively, class members may download a PDF of the claim form from the Veradigm settlement website to print, fill out and return by mail to the address listed near the top of the document.
All Veradigm claim forms must be submitted online or by mail by March 3, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant final approval to the Veradigm data breach settlement at a hearing on March 18, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to consumers only after final approval is granted and any appeals are resolved.
The Veradigm class action lawsuit claimed that the healthcare technology company failed to reasonably safeguard the sensitive client information stored in its network from a data breach in December 2024. Per court documents, the private data accessed during the cyberattack included names, contact information, dates of birth, health records, insurance claims, payment information, Social Security numbers and driver’s license numbers.
Court records show that the Veradigm settlement was initially approved by the court in October 2025 at a value of $8,750,000, but after additional data analysis revealed approximately 500,000 more class members than the parties originally estimated, the settlement fund was renegotiated to the amount of $10,500,000.
According to the settlement website, the Veradigm clients impacted by the data breach include Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Associates; Carolina Ear Nose & Throat Allergy Center; Neighborhood Health Center of Western New York; Cabarrus Eye Center; Family Medical Group of Texarkana; La Red Health Center; Urology Associates of Mobile; Peachtree Neurological Clinic; North Buncombe Family Medicine; Thomaston Medical Clinic, PC; Henrietta Johnson Medical Center – Wilmington; Catholic Health Initiatives/CommonSpirit Health (including MercyOne); Nystrom & Associates; Genesis Healthcare Inc. (including Unio Specialty Care); Delaware Healthnet, and Corona-Temecula Orthopaedic Associates Medical Group.
