$1.8M Call-On-Doc Settlement Ends Class Action Over Alleged Use of Third-Party Tracking Pixels

A $1.8M Call-On-Doc settlement resolves a class action suit over the alleged use of third-party tracking pixels to share patients’ data without consent.
Call-On-Doc has agreed to a $1,800,000 settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit that alleged the telemedicine platform covertly deployed tracking pixels on its website that transferred patients’ personal information to third parties without consent.

The $1.8 million Call-On-Doc class action settlement received preliminary approval from the court on May 19, 2026. The deal covers all individuals who:
- -Created an account with Call-On-Doc while in California at any time from November 7, 2023 to the date of final judgment in the litigation; and
- -Were registered Call-On-Doc users and started to book appointments for medical care in California (regardless of completion of the medical appointment) at any time from November 7, 2021 to the date of final judgment.

Call-On-Doc settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form can receive a cash payment of up to $20, with no proof required.
The final amount of each class member’s payout will be determined based on the number of valid claims filed, among other factors.
To submit a Call-On-Doc settlement claim form online, class members can head to this page and enter the login ID and PIN found on their copy of the settlement notice. Alternatively, class members can download a PDF claim form to print, fill out, and return by mail to the settlement administrator.
All Call-On-Doc settlement claim forms must be submitted online or postmarked by August 29, 2026.
The court will determine whether to grant the Call-On-Doc settlement final approval following a hearing on August 31, 2026. Compensation will begin to be distributed to class members only after final approval has been granted and any appeals have been resolved.
The Call-On-Doc class action lawsuit alleged that the online telemedicine platform used third-party tracking technologies that transmitted patient information to third parties without first obtaining written consent, allegedly in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act.
