Attorneys are investigating whether a class action can be filed against Tenet Healthcare Corporation over potential privacy violations. Specifically, the attorneys have reason to believe Tenet may have used online tracking tools that secretly collected data about patients who interacted with its hospital websites and then transmitted this information to third parties. The case claims that the sourcing methods for the wood pulp used to make the product are environmentally devastating, despite what the company’s marketing says. | According to the suit, Igloo has falsely advertised that certain cooler products are biodegradable or composed entirely of recycled materials. For instance, the case alleges that Igloo’s “biodegradable” representations on its ReCool reusable cooler have led consumers to believe the product will fully break down within a reasonable time after disposal—which is rarely the case.
