Showplace Entertainment Center, LLC is the latest bowling alley operating company to be named as a defendant in a list of lawsuits alleging Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) violations. The plaintiff in the suits, a blind New York man, claims the defendant failed to design a website that allows equal access to visually impaired individuals. As a result of the website’s alleged non-compliance with accessibility standards, the complaint says, the plaintiff was unable to freely navigate the defendant’s site and learn information about the entertainment center’s locations, hours, food, events, bowling leagues, gift card purchases, and policies.
