A proposed class action claims RCH Lawn Maintenance and its owner failed to pay minimum and overtime wages in accordance with state and federal labor laws. Filed in Florida, the lawsuit alleges the landscaping outfit paid lawn maintenance workers at a flat hourly rate no matter how many hours over 40 they worked in a week. The plaintiffs say they worked an average of 48 hours per week loading and unloading trucks and traveling to and from jobsites without being paid at the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate.
