New York City law firm Lee Litigation Group on Tuesday filed four more proposed class action lawsuits claiming the defendants’ respective websites are not in line with the Americans With Disabilities Act’s (ADA) guidelines. The individual complaints claim websites operated by Greenwich Village Funeral Home, Inc. (greenwichvillagefuneralhome.com); The RBM Group, LLC (docksoyusterbar.com); Alcone Company, Inc. (alconeco.com); and The Mermaid Holding Company, LLC (themermaidnyc.com) contain access barriers that unlawfully deny blind and hard-of-sight individuals equal and full access to the goods and services found within the companies’ online properties.
The lawsuits each seek declaratory relief, as well as injunctive relief to correct the defendants’ websites to ensure compliance with the ADA and similar state statutes.
