A proposed class action lawsuit filed against the company claims a Florida man was denied a job as a regional sales manager with Jasper due to the results of background check conducted by third-party Criminal Watchdog, Inc. According to the complaint, the plaintiff’s background check turned up multiple purported criminal charges and convictions and incorrectly stated that the plaintiff was a registered sex offender.
