A Florida man has filed suit against defendants Ozzy’s Cleaning Services, LLC, Soho Beach House, LLC, and an individual owner, claiming they failed to pay him overtime wages, as required under the Fair Labor Standards Act. The plaintiff, who was employed as a warehouse worker, worked an average of 60 hours per week, but was unlawfully denied time-and-a-half overtime compensation for the hours he worked above 40 in a week, according to the complaint.
The suit seeks to cover the plaintiff and similarly situated employees who worked for the defendants within the past three years and did not receive minimum and/or overtime wages.
