Group home facility operator Key Center Foundation, Inc. is facing a former employee’s proposed class action alleging she and other workers are owed unpaid back wages. The lawsuit claims the plaintiff, an employee with the defendant since 2009, frequently worked between 70 and 80 hours per work for no additional compensation above the 40-hour threshold, marking her pay at below the federal minimum during some weeks. Further, the case also alleges the plaintiff was not given her final paycheck.
