A former employee of No Pressure Roof Cleaning LLC has filed a lawsuit against the company and its individual owner, claiming that he is owed unpaid overtime wages and was fired in retaliation for raising concerns about his pay. The plaintiff, who worked for the defendants as a spray technician, alleges that he was often required to work before and after his scheduled shifts, and that the extra time added up to more than 40 hours of work per week. He says he was always paid at a straight hourly rate instead of receiving time-and-a-half overtime compensation for the hours he worked in excess of 40 in a week. According to the suit, the plaintiff voiced his compensation concerns to the owner of the company and was fired the next day.
