Amerigas Propane, Inc. has been named as the defendant in a proposed class action lawsuit filed by a former employee who claims he was not paid for all the hours he worked. According to the plaintiff – who was employed as a service technician – Amerigas failed to pay its employees overtime wages when they worked more than 40 hours in a week. The suit further claims that the plaintiff and other employees were forced to work “off the clock” without being compensated and that the defendant would automatically deduct a daily 30-minute lunch break from their pay whether they took a break or not.
