A proposed class action has been filed against Caring Professionals, Inc. over allegations that the in-home health care company failed to pay workers proper overtime compensation. Filed in New York, the lawsuit alleges the plaintiff and similarly situated employees worked at least 52 hours per week—with schedules set to four 24-hour shifts per week—without being paid at the hourly time-and-a-half rate for all hours worked over 40.
