Florida repossession company 1st Stop Recovery, Inc. and its owner are the defendants in a proposed class action alleging employees were not paid proper overtime wages. The plaintiff behind the action, who worked as a repo agent and office assistant from September 2015 through December 2016, alleges she and others were not compensated at the mandatory time-and-a-half hourly rate for all hours worked past 40 during all workweeks. The lawsuit cites alleged violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
