Two plaintiffs with mobility disabilities claim in a proposed class action lawsuit against Turkey Hill, L.P. that some of its Minit Markets throughout Pennsylvania contain inaccessible parking lots and paths of travel that discriminate against individuals covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The complaint alleges facilities operated by defendants Turkey Hill, L.P., THGP Co., Inc., and THLP Co., Inc., contain, among other ostensible ADA compliance issues, parking lots with excessive slopes that lack van-accessible parking spots, excessively sloped ramps leading into the buildings’ entrances and inadequate “accessible” signage.
