Another class action has been filed in CA over Behr's allegedly ineffective DeckOver product, this time against its exclusive seller, Home Depot, as well.

A California consumer’s proposed class action against Behr Process Corp., The Home Depot, Inc. and three other companies alleges their DeckOver resurfacing and restoration product does not live up to claims about its durability. The lawsuit, which echoes allegations made in a complaint filed last month, claims DeckOver, sold exclusively at Home Depot and marketed as a superior (albeit pricier) alternative to traditional paints and stains, deteriorates within months of application, causing extensive damage to any surface to which it’s applied.
