A proposed class action out of Maryland claims Annapolis Road Services, Inc., which owns and operates a roadside service station/car wash, violated overtime wage provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The named plaintiff in the suit claims she, a car wash worker, and proposed class members were not paid at the time-and-a-half hourly rate for all hours worked over 40 in a week in violation of the FLSA. Specifically, the plaintiff claims she worked between 40 and 52 hours per week and was paid her regular hourly rate for all overtime hours.
