The Arisa Health data breach settlement, which received preliminary court approval on May 14, 2025, covers anyone whom Arisa identified as having had their data exposed in the incident, including anyone who was sent a notice of the data breach in July 2024.
The court-authorized website for the Arisa Health settlement can be found at ArisaHealthDataIncident.com.
Arisa settlement class members who submit a timely, valid claim form may receive reimbursement for up to $5,000 in documented losses related to the data breach, including, but not limited to:
- Credit monitoring expenses incurred between the time of the incident and the date the claim is submitted;
- Unreimbursed losses related to identity theft or fraud; and
- Long-distance phone charges, gasoline for local travel, postage and bank fees related to the incident or its consequences.
Any losses not listed above for which class members have documentation and are reasonably related to the incident may also be included in the reimbursement claim.
Class members may also submit a claim for three years of one-bureau credit monitoring services and a cash payment of approximately $70. No proof is required to claim either of these benefits; only an email address is needed to receive credit monitoring through the settlement. The cash payment may be reduced or increased on a pro-rata, or equal share, basis depending on the total number of valid claims filed compared to the available settlement funds.
Arisa Health has additionally agreed to implement certain changes to its business practices to reinforce and update the protections for patients’ private information.
To submit a claim form online, visit this page and log in with the unique class member ID found in your settlement notice.
Alternatively, a PDF version of the claim form is available to download, print, fill out and mail back to the address listed on page one of the form.
All claims must be submitted online or postmarked by August 27, 2025.
A hearing to determine whether the settlement will receive final approval from the court will be held on September 24, 2025. Compensation will begin to be dispensed to eligible Arisa settlement class members only if final approval is granted and after any appeals have been resolved.
The Arisa Health data breach class action lawsuit alleged that the company’s data breach notice deceptively downplayed or obfuscated the truth about the incident, which compromised consumers’ names, addresses, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance details and other sensitive information. The suit accused Arisa Health of having “lost control over its computer network,” affecting at least 375,436 people.
