Several Propecia lawsuits have been filed across the country by men who suffered sexual side effects, which persisted even after they stopped using the drug, as well as mental impairment. These lawsuits make a number of allegations against the manufacturer Merck regarding their alleged failure to warn and seek compensation for damages, ranging from medical bills to loss of quality of life.
Propecia Allegations
A number of allegations against the manufacturer, including but not limited to the following:
- Failure to conduct proper testing and marketing studies
- Failure to properly warn men of permanent Propecia sexual side effects
- Failure to fully disclose Propecia side effects
The lawsuits claim that men have suffered damages as a result of their sexual side effects. One lawsuit claims that side effects of Propecia ruined his marriage, and his wife left him, while another suit alleges that the plaintiff had to drop out of law school due to a loss of focus and concentration.
