A New York woman has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Nationwide Credit & Collection, Inc. over claims that the defendant violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The plaintiff says she received several calls from the defendant that used a prerecorded voice despite never having provided her consent to receive the calls, which she claims invaded her privacy and caused her “annoyance and aggravation.”
