SmartProcure Sued for Allegedly Sending Junk Faxes

Big data firm SmartProcure, LLC is at the center of a proposed class action claiming the company unlawfully sent junk faxes to proposed class members in violation of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Filed in Florida, the lawsuit alleges the defendant failed to receive express consent from recipients before sending the faxes, which, the case says, were sent without legally mandatory opt-out notices.
