A proposed class action claims defendant California Service Bureau, Inc. violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) by using automated dialing software to contact the plaintiff and proposed class members. Filed in California, the lawsuit outlines claims that the defendant called the plaintiff at least 18 times over a four-month period without first obtaining consent. Despite requests made by the plaintiff for the defendant to stop calling, the robocalls allegedly persisted to her cell phone via a computer database that had the capacity to store consumers’ numbers.
