A proposed class action filed over alleged FDCPA abuses claims defendant Prince-Parker & Associates, Inc. left voice messages without properly identifying itself.
A proposed class action filed over alleged Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) abuses claims defendant Prince-Parker & Associates, Inc. left voice messages on consumers’ phones in which it unlawfully failed to identify itself as a debt collector calling to collect a debt. The complaint describes at least five messages left for the plaintiff by the defendant in which it gave the name of the individual calling and a call-back number, but did not provide “meaningful disclosure” that the calls were from a debt collector.
