A class action filed against GC Services Limited Partnership alleges the business process outsourcer violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The lawsuit, filed in Wisconsin, says GC Services failed to provide the named plaintiff with a proper validation notice of her alleged debt. Specifically, it is alleged GC Services illegally asked the debtor to provide a written notification if she were to dispute her debt owed, which is not required under the law.
