The Law Offices of Joel Cardis, LLC and an individual owner are the defendants in a proposed class action lawsuit alleging violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. The plaintiff claims the defendants called her hundreds of times in 2016 using an autodialer and pre-recorded voice. According to the complaint, the plaintiff did not provide prior consent to receive the robocalls and requested multiple times that the defendants cease calling her. The “illegal” autodialed calls caused the plaintiff “worry, frustration, aggravation, distress and lost time,” the suit argues.
