A Florida man alleges in a proposed class action that TrueAccord Corp. violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
A Florida man alleges in a proposed class action that TrueAccord Corp. violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) when it allegedly sent him a collection notice that failed to note whether his balance owed may increase due to accruing interest or fees. The lawsuit claims the plaintiff, i.e. the least sophisticated consumer, may be deceived by the defendant’s alleged conduct, the lawsuit alleges, and be left unsure as to whether payment of the amount stated in the notice would fully satisfy the debt.
