Debt collection company Alliance One Receivables Management Inc. is facing a class action out of Wisconsin alleging it violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
Debt collection company Alliance One Receivables Management Inc. is facing a class action out of Wisconsin alleging it violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). The suit claims Alliance One Receivables sent a collection letter to the plaintiff containing “multiple contradictory and confusing statements” that the unsophisticated consumer could easily misinterpret, an alleged violation of the FDCPA. Individuals in Wisconsin who received a debt collection letter from Alliance One Receivables between October 14, 2015 and October 14, 2016 may be eligible class members should the case get certified.
