Lawsuit: Debt Collector Unlawfully Demands Payment from Debtor’s Spouse
August 31, 2017 A Wisconsin woman has filed a proposed class action lawsuit against Americollect, Inc. and The Orthopedic Institute of Wisconsin (OIW) claiming they unlawfully attempted to collect from her a medical debt purportedly owed by her husband.
