Kubik v. Blue Star Cruises LLC
Filed: September 4, 2017 ◆§ 3:17-cv-01785-L-AGS
A lawsuit out of California claims Blue Star Cruises LLC spammed consumers' cell phones with unwanted robocalls.
A new proposed class action out of California alleges Blue Star Cruises LLC placed illegal, automatically-dialed calls to consumers’ cell phones without their consent. Citing alleged Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) violations, the plaintiff claims the defendant began calling his cell phone in 2017 in an attempt to solicit his business. The lawsuit notes the plaintiff never provided prior express consent, nor had an established business relationship with the defendant, before receiving the calls.
