The breach was discovered on March 17, 2025, when suspicious activity was detected within the company's systems. WaterStreet initiated an investigation to assess the situation and restore affected computer systems. It was revealed that an unauthorized individual had accessed specific files on the day the breach was identified.
Upon a review of the files, WaterStreet found that some contained sensitive personal information, including names, Social Security numbers, and bank account details.
Individuals affected by the WaterStreet Company data breach are receiving direct notice of the incident via mail.
