Pediatric Home Service Data Breach:
Lawsuit Investigation
Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are looking into whether a class action lawsuit can be filed in light of the Pediatric Home Service data breach.
As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
Pediatric Home Respiratory Services, LLC, which does business as Pediatric Home Service, has reported a data breach to at least one attorney general's office. While not much is known about the security incident, a report submitted to the Texas Attorney General states that names, addresses, Social Security numbers, medical information and health insurance information may have been exposed.
Those affected by the Pediatric Home Service data breach are expected to receive individual notice letters via mail. Pediatric Home Service offers home health care services for children with complex medical conditions and has locations throughout the Midwest, as well as in Florida and Texas.
If your information was exposed in the breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
A successful case could also force Pediatric Home Service to ensure it takes proper steps to protect the information it was entrusted with.
