Hidden Online Ticket Fees?

To open things up, two leading online ticket sellers are facing a lawsuit for allegedly charging junk fees, while another recently filed case takes issue with a popular brand of infant formula and the possible presence of heavy metals.

Lawsuit: Ticketmaster, Live Nation Conceal Full Ticket Prices

According to the proposed class action, the ticket sellers lure potential buyers in with low initial ticket prices only to demand “exorbitant” fees during the final stage of purchasing. One plaintiff, for instance, claims that while her three tickets were initially listed at $870 total, she was then charged an additional $163 in fees and $78 in taxes. Learn more.

Similac Infant Formula Contaminated with Heavy Metals?

Abbott Labs has been hit with a lawsuit claiming that some of its Similac powdered infant formulas contain harmful levels of arsenic, cadmium, lead and/or mercury. The lawsuit mentions Similac ProAdvance, 360 Total Care, Soy Isomil, Advance OptiGRO, NeoSure and Total Comfort, specifically. Want more? This page has the details.

Lawsuit Filed After Lucid Platform Bed Recall
The mattress and bedroom furniture retailer is facing a proposed class action after approximately 137,000 platform beds were recalled in September 2024 due to a fall and injury risk. The suit says that, as of the recall announcement, Lucid has received 245 reports of the platform beds sagging, breaking, or collapsing, causing 18 injuries. Segway Scooter Recall Sparks Lawsuit

Segway faces a proposed class action lawsuit days after it recalled roughly 220,000 Ninebot Max G30P and Max G30LP KickScooters due to concerns that the products’ folding mechanism could fail during use. The plaintiff said he was riding his Segway Ninebot Max G30P when the stem suddenly folded and collapsed, causing a fall that tore his rotator cuff and dislocated and fractured his shoulder.
