- It is believed that General Electric began using the allegedly defective design in refrigerators sold under the following brand names: Monogram; Café; Profile; GE; and GE Custom Style.
- While no exact date has been established, it is believed that they stopped using the allegedly defective design in 2008.
Consumers who own General Electric refrigerators may be entitled to compensation. It has been alleged that certain GE refrigerators have a defect that causes the refrigerator to stop operating and poses a fire risk.
It is believed that this defect is contained in General Electric refrigerators sold under the following brand names prior to 2008:
