Attorneys working with ClassAction.org are investigating whether a class action lawsuit can be filed over certain Frigidaire gas ranges recalled in March 2026 due to oven bake burners that posed a burn risk to users.
Specifically, while the recall promises to provide professional installations of new bake burners at no cost to consumers, the attorneys believe that the manufacturer could owe consumers additional compensation for having purchased and owned the product without any warning as to its potential safety risks.
Which Frigidaire Ranges Were Recalled?
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reports that, after receiving at least 62 reports of delayed ignition in the bake burners of the products’ ovens, including 30 reports of burn injuries, Frigidaire’s parent company, Electrolux Consumer Products, issued a recall of the gas ranges on March 19, 2026.
The gas ranges recalled by Electrolux include the Frigidaire, Frigidaire Gallery and Frigidaire Professional product lines.
The specific models that were recalled are as follows and have a serial number range of VF52200000 through VF54399999:
