WEL Companies Security Incident: What Happened?
WEL Companies, Inc., a trucking, logistics and warehousing company based in Wisconsin, is providing notice of a recent data breach that may have affected the personal information of 122,960 people.
The company identified unusual activity on its network on January 31, 2025, and an investigation determined that certain files were accessed and acquired without authorization in connection with the incident. WEL Companies conducted a review of the affected data and found on November 12, 2025 that personal information stored in the system may have been impacted.
A letter from the company's attorneys states that names, Social Security numbers and driver's licenses or state IDs were potentially exposed in the WEL Companies data breach.
