Valley Perinatal Security Incident: What Happened?
Valley Perinatal Services, a Phoenix-based system of women's care clinics that also does business as Advanced Women's Care, has disclosed a data breach linked to a December 2025 security incident at Aesto Health, a third-party data migration and archiving company.
According to a sample notification letter sent to affected individuals, as seen below, Aesto experienced a network security issue impacting a portion of its Amazon Web Services infrastructure between December 2 and December 18, 2025. This incident resulted in the exposure of certain information pertaining to individuals associated with Aesto's clients, including Valley Perinatal.
An August 20, 2026 report submitted to the Vermont Attorney General's Office states that the Valley Perinatal Services data breach impacted Social Security numbers and health records. The aforementioned notice letter notes that names may have also been exposed in the incident.
