Gila Health Security Incident: What Happened?
Gila Health Resources, a multispecialty medical provider with locations in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Colorado, has reported a data breach involving sensitive information.
According to an August 7, 2026 report filed with the Vermont Attorney General's Office, the Gila Health Resources data breach impacted Social Security numbers.
Gila Health has been identified as a "covered entity" impacted by a data breach at a third-party data migration and archiving company, Aesto Health. A July 24 notice posted to Aesto's website stated that a December 2025 network security incident exposed certain information belonging to patients of Aesto's clients to an unauthorized actor.
