According to a sample notice submitted to the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation, which can be seen below, the high-performance specialty materials manufacturer has started to notify affected individuals.

The Alkegen data breach appeared on dark web monitoring site Ransomware.live on April 23, 2026, with hacker group Akira claiming to have accessed 57 gigabytes of corporate data, including employees’ personal documents and clients’ personal information, on or around March 13, 2026.
