I was wary of other customer reviews complaining of leaking but we needed an under sink filter for the PFAS in our public water supply. We hired a licensed plumber to install the unit. Despite this, one of the filters is leaking. The plumber made a second visit but was unable to remedy the leaking. It’s a good filter but in a very poor quality product.” — Meiying, Aquasana.com
Purchased this water filter several years ago and it was working fine. We came home one afternoon and our kitchen was flooded. The hardwood floors had warped and there was water spraying out of the bottom of one of the canisters. From reviews I have read, this is a common problem…” — Nabes, Aquasana.com
We purchased this under the counter Aquasana filtration system about three years ago. The water quality seemed good, and the only complaint initially was how difficult it was for me to change the filters. However, 2 weeks ago we woke up to the sound of rushing water. Our kitchen floor was covered with water, and our finished basement had 5 inches of water. One of the Aquasana filters had ruptured and the water was rapidly pouring out. Our basement was completely destroyed, carpets, ceilings and walls. Our kitchen floor was destroyed. This experience was so traumatic, I cannot begin to explain the stress we are under.” — Stressed and sad, Aquasana.com
After years of good water quality, the plastic casing of the red filter cracked and leaked causing thousands of dollars of water damage.” — Rodge, Aquasana.com
