As part of their investigation, they need to hear from individuals who received a notice stating they were impacted.
WD & Associates, a division of Patriot Growth Insurance Services, has reported a security breach involving unauthorized access to its internal servers and workstations. The incident, which occurred between February 1 and February 9, 2023, prompted action to secure the network and investigate the breach. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the incident involved unauthorized access to certain files containing sensitive information.
Information exposed in the WD & Associates data breach includes names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, health insurance information, financial account information, medical information, driver's license numbers and passport numbers. It appears that the affected data was given to WD & Associates in connection with its insurance consulting and brokerage services.
WD & Associates, which offers group benefits, property and casualty insurance, individual life and disability insurance, retirement planning, and human resources assistance, is now notifying potentially affected individuals whose information might have been compromised.
