According to a notice posted to its website, Vista Del Mar identified suspicious activity within its computer network on June 30, 2026. An investigation into the incident has so far revealed that an unauthorized actor gained access to certain systems housing files that potentially contained personal and protected health information.
The company is currently reviewing the files on systems that were affected by the incident and will update reports as more information becomes available. Individuals who were potentially impacted by the Vista Del Mar data breach will receive a mailed notice of the incident.
The Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services data breach was also reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on August 29, 2026.
