TRG Medical Imaging Security Incident: What Happened?
TRG, LLC, which does business as TRG Medical Imaging, is alerting individuals to a data breach experienced by its vendor, debt collection agency Nationwide Recovery Services. The breach occurred between July 5 and July 11, 2024, when an unauthorized party accessed Nationwide's computer network and copied certain files. These files may include names, addresses, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, account balances, and medical-related information, which Nationwide collected from TRG Medical Imaging for payment recovery services. TRG's systems were not accessed in this data breach.
Notices are now being sent to individuals whose information was exposed in the data breach impacting TRG, which provides medical imaging services at six locations in Oregon.
What You Can Do After the TRG Data Breach
If your information was exposed in the data breach, attorneys want to hear from you. You may be able to start a class action lawsuit to recover compensation for loss of privacy, time spent dealing with the breach, out-of-pocket costs, and more.
